Friday night Ellie did what seemed impossible and slept for six hours straight - from 11:45 until 5:45. It was wonderful! I actually didn't know that qualified as "through the night" until I spoke with Katelyn. It's nice to have sisters to keep me informed!
Although the Brusts weren't in town yet, we went to Weaver's Orchard in the afternoon since it is only open to the general public on Saturdays. We found out that it cost quite a bit more than last year for kids (and actually cost for adults - last year we were free!) but was free for kids 3 and under, which worked for Haley, Ellie, and Emily. Caleb also happened to get in free because he just walked by the front gate without stopping. Ha!
It was a nice day to spend at the orchard. This year they got smart and hired two clowns as to avoid a terribly long wait, like last year. You can relive that last year on Carly's blog
here. Haley got a bi-plane. She also got her face painted and rode on the little ride thing. Next year perhaps Ellie and Emily will be getting a ride, too.

We went home after picking up some groceries from the Weaver's Orchard store. Shortly thereafter the Brusts arrived! Calla and Kelsey wanted to hold the babies as soon as possible. They look very cheerful for being stuck in a car for 12 hours!
Jon worked on the church roof all morning and afternoon and then came to Mom and Dad's for dinner. The president of LeTourneau University and his wife were over and Mom made a delicious spread. After they left Jon and I headed home to prepare for Ellie's baptism. It was hard to leave, but so exciting to have the Canches, Brusts, and Caleb in town!
